Where Same-Sex Marriage is Leading Us
“A Sea of Perversion”
Just over a month ago, prior to the ruling of the Supreme Court on Same-Sex Marriage the Lord gave me a warning and I wrote an article/blog titled Where Is Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner Leading Us? In the word, (which can be read it in it’s entirety here) the Lord warned that a tide of evil and deception is sweeping the land. He also spoke of what had been creeping in – is now moving at the speed of a freight train. I had no idea just how accurate that was until the supreme court ruling on Same-Sex Marriage and how rapidly things have transpired since, which I will share below.
First let me add, following the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, I saw a sea of perversion rushing in; it hit with the force of a tidal wave and covered our land. I hesitated to share what I was seeing and feeling. I am not judging America nor releasing judgement on it. But a conversation with a trusted friend and woman of God who was getting the same warning sparked me to be bold and release the warning of what is currently happening and could yet happen. As a result of perversion, we will see:
- Increase in child pornography and even an embracing of this by the media
- Sex trafficking will worsen, as will prostitution
- Acceptance of pedophilia
- Greater Persecution of Churches and Christians whose beliefs differ from this agenda
You may be thinking, “That’s Ridiculous! Impossible!” However, in my blog on June 17th, I predicted the next move would be transgender bathrooms in public schools. According to an article on June 30, in the Washington Examiner,
“The Department of Justice argued in a brief to a federal court on Monday that transgender high school students should be able to use school restrooms that match up with their gender identity, and can’t be forced by the school to use the restroom that matches up with their physical characteristics.“
Department stores are also getting in on neutralizing gender. According to a recent article in “USA TODAY”, Target announced they are removing gender based labeling.
Currently airing on ABC Family is “Becoming Us” produced by Ryan Seacrest that focuses on two teens and their transgender parents. According to DailyMail.com, Transgender teen Jazz Jennings, 14, who has lived as a girl since she was five, signs on to star in TLC reality series to show the ‘love, acceptance, and support’ of her family and friends. This 14-year old will undergo gender alteration surgery at age 18 and has already launched a charity and a children’s book.
Additionally, the so-called “Family Friendly” PBS is promoting the transgender lifestyle to children. In an attempt to normalize the transgender lifestyle by using young cast members to lure a young audience, PBS aired ““Growing Up Trans” on June 30.
The perversion will not stop there, however. According to former House Majority Leader, Tom Delay, the DOJ (Department of Justice) wants to legalize “12 new perversions” including pedophilia and bestiality.
In an interview with Steve Malzberg on the “Malzber Show”, DeLay also pointed to a secret memo.
“We’ve already found a secret memo coming out of the Justice Department,” DeLay said. “They’re now going to go after 12 new perversions, things like bestiality, polygamy, having sex with little boys and making that legal. Not only that, but they have a whole list of strategies to go after the churches, the pastors, and any businesses that tries to assert their religious liberty. This is coming and it’s coming like a tidal wave.”
I don’t find it funny or even coincidental that DeLay used the word “tidal wave” after the Word from the Lord that a sea of perversion and deception would be sweeping the land. The LGBT agenda is moving with the speed of a freight train. The question asked is how could all laws be changing and all of this be happening when only 3.8% of the country identify as LGBT?
1) It is demonically driven.
2) Most Christians are asleep.
In a recent article on The Conservative Pundit, Linda Harvey president of Mission America, warns of the “Equality Act”.
The “Equality Act “was introduced in Congress as H.R. 3185 and S. 1858 just before summer recess. This legislation jumps way beyond any previous anti-discrimination bill and would essentially wipe out free speech and religious liberty on the issues of homosexuality and gender change by declaring these behaviors to be civil rights in America.” (Harvey)
Harvey believes that the language of the bill will allow claims of discrimination against a multitude of pro-life efforts. Crisis pregnancy centers may be sued to change the services offered or the messages conveyed.
“Christianity is now a target to be obliterated or revised with homosexuality no longer a sin, humans no longer distinctly male and female, abortion a “right” for females and believers painted into a narrow doctrinal corner if we let them do this.” (Harvey)
WHAT’S NEXT?
In the days ahead, we are likely to experience greater persecution of Christians and churches in this country; and the strong possibility of these forces coming after our property, jobs, Bibles and religious freedom. An unjust example of this is the order by the state of Oregon for Aaron and Melissa Klein, the bakers who refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding, to pay $135,000 in emotional damages to the couple they denied service.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
- Live loud! Love loud! – Don’t stop loving or reaching out to a world, community, culture who are lost and hurting.
- Stand firm – Stand upon the Word of God and His truth. Laws do not change truth!
- Pray – For an awakening. Pray for the American church to arise. Pray to experience personal revival and to be Salt & Light.
- Be prepared – in knowing that things could get worse and that Jesus was hated and so shall we be. (See Matthew 24:9, Isaiah 60:2)
- Don’t Be Afraid – ( See John 16:33, 1 John 4:4)
- EXPECT – I believe during this time, we will also see one of the greatest moves of God ever seen…
