Rise Up Mighty Warriors! Rise Up!

In an age where many Christians are slumbering comfortably beneath the shade of a tree or dwelling near the safety of the church; God is calling us to more.

It’s time for us to rise up and out of our comfort zone and into the battle. We have been called for such a time as this – for this season of harvest. We are called to radical faith and sold-out, burning love for our Lord.    To Be:

  • Unashamed in our service and worship of HIM
  • Unconcerned about the cost
  • Unafraid of what man will say
  • Undaunted by the obstacles ahead of us

We are called to rise up as warriors who are willing to pay the price – to lay aside the sin that weighs us down. The call has sounded for us to rise up out of the crowd “that says anything goes” t0 pursue righteous living and purity – even if it costs us ridicule and friendships. (James 4:8)

We are called to rise up above fear of what man thinks. To worship in abandonment the one who died for us. For, we should not fear man.                     Our concern should be more for what God thinks instead of what man thinks. (Hebrews 13:6)

We are called to rise up above average, above status quo. To walk in an anointing that when we step around the corner on our street, in the grocery   store, in the hallways of our work place, school or hospital, the demons tremble because they know we’re packing. Not physical weapons,                        but weapons that are mighty through God, able to pull down demonic strongholds and set the captives free. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

We are called to rise up and be risk-takers. We are not subject to intimidation, rather we are propelled by our faith to reach for and accomplish the impossible, because we KNOW who the God of the impossible is. (Matthew 19:26)

The stakes are high. The enemy of our soul is raging.

He is attacking our faith, our homes, churches, marriages and children. He is accusing, slandering, lying and hitting us with offense, trying to intimidate us with his onslaught.

Some have become complacent and apathetic. Some are weary from the battle, while others have been paralyzed on the field of fear. Sadly, many have gone M.I.A. altogether.

Yet time is short and the battle rages on. We must engage in the fight. Not with one another but with our common enemy: Satan. Knowing that he is defeated and we fight from a standpoint of1 victory! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

God is calling us in this generation to RISE up out of the ashes of defeat, out of the prisons, crack houses – our homes and workplaces and boldly go where few want to go. We are children of the most-high God.  We were BORN for such a time as this. For this hour. We should not be comfortable siting idly by, while the forces of hell ransack what is ours. We must shake off fear, apathy, pride and offense and realize that we are to courageously and militantly push back the forces of darkness by the power of the light of God shining through us.

We are to rise up from the comfort of the padded pew, from beneath the shade of the tree to march fearlessly into the dark places and proclaim  God is alive and HIS Kingdom is at hand! The gates of hell shall not prevail against us…

A recent post by Kris Vallotton sums it up well;

“Where are the women and men with radical faith and outrageous courage? When will the righteous reign and the demoniacs flee at the very sight of a child of the King? How long must we stumble through this darkness before we rise with wisdom that stuns the kings of this world? Who will step out from the crowd and dare to leave the cesspool of unrighteous living to embrace a life of purity?  These are thequestions that plague my very soul. As for me, Iwasn’t born to live near the sound of church bells…

I was created to destroy the gates of hell!

Are you ready to incite a revolution?”
