First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Cheers!

While, I love writing – it’s one of the most difficult things I do! Clearing the mind is often difficult for me as well, and I find that I waste time in the process. One of the best things to do (and this is a challenge) is just write. Put words on the screen, even if they’re bad! Just get them on there and then you can go back and edit or (delete as the case may be) later, but just getting the creative juices flowing is the biggest thing. Eventually, something good comes out of and you’re like – wow!
