Daddy’s Little Girl

You Are The King’s Daughter

What does it mean to be Daddy’s little girl?  Some women fully understand that term and know the cherished, protected feeling of  having a loving father.  Many others do not.

It’s been said that little girls get their identities from their fathers.  And if they weren’t daddy’s little girl, or had an abusive or absentee father their identities suffer as a result of that.  Without healing of father wounds or emotional wounds from our childhood or past, this affects our relationship with God and how we see Him.  It affects how we approach Him.  It affects how we believe HE sees us.

In the beginning we were created in the image of God. Both male and female.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  Genesis 1:27

Every other creature was taken from dirt, even Adam.  But the woman was taken from inside of man.  She was fashioned from a different material.   She was fearfully and wonderfully made…..

It was the same with you…

In the beginning, you were fearfully and wonderfully made

But just as the serpent entered the garden to deceive and destroy, our enemy entered in to our lives to destroy….

He entered in through abuse, through molestation, abortion, rejection…

And, through those things, our view of ourselves have been altered.

He came in twisting the truth and with accusations. Satan has accused us so much that we are clothed in shame.  His lies tell us that we have no value, no worth and we don’t deserve to be called a daughter of God. He makes us afraid to even approach God. Much less believe God will respond to us.

He doesn’t stop there – one of satan’s main objectives is to accuse God to us and alter our view of Him.  He wants us to believe God has failed us, abandoned us, betrayed us…

Satan is a LIAR.  He is the father of lies and is incapable of telling the truth.  He knows if we ever get the revelation that God is a good father who has forgiven us, who adores us and has clothed us in righteousness and adorned us in the beauty of His love, we will be unstoppable.

Glorious is the King’s daughter within [the palace];
Her robe is interwoven with gold.  Psalm 45:13 AMP

Ask the Father today, to reveal His love to you.  Settle it in your mind.

Your past does not define you.  What happened to you does not define you.

You are not what you did.  You are who HE says you are

Stop listening to the lies of the enemy. Come boldly to the throne of grace. You are the King’s Daughter.  You are a princess not a peasant!

You are loved. You are accepted.

You are “Daddy’s Little Girl”!
